Athletic Alert
The Varsity Hockey team will be in the County Championship Finals vs. Bellmore-Merrick in the best 2 out 3 series. The Finals schedule is:
Game 1: Monday, February 10th at Long Beach: 7:45PM
Game 2: Wednesday, February 12th at Bethpage: 7:45PM
Game 3: Friday, February 14th at Bethpage: 6:15PM (if needed)
The league is charging a $5 admission fee for all spectators for each game. Go Marines!
The Nassau County wrestling tournament is taking place at Hofstra University on Saturday, 2/15 beginning at 10 a.m. and Sunday, 2/16 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Hofstra University. Section 8 is charging an admission fee of $11 for this event for any spectator 12 and over. Tickets must be purchased online at:

The two wrestling finals, Division 1 (Long Beach is Division 1) and Division 2 will be streaming free on Varsity Media YouTube channel. The Division 2 finals are scheduled to start at 1PM start and the Division 1 finals are scheduled to start at 5pm on Sunday, 2/16.

NOTE: LOCKER ROOMS WILL BE OPEN IN THE MORNING FOR STUDENTS TO BRING THEIR EQUIPMENT BAGS. IF LOCATIONS CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER, ANNOUNCENTS WILL BE MADE IN SCHOOL.
