EasyTech

Beginning in the fall of 2015, the Long Beach Public Schools began using EasyTech from Learning.com.  The EasyTech program is a set of self-paced, interactive learning experiences that teach students basic computer skills including keyboarding, internet safety, website reliability, and software applications.  Each “module” takes anywhere from 15-40 minutes to complete, and supports other work students do in the computer lab under the guidance of their teacher or our computer teaching assistants.

The EasyTech program supports students in grades K-2 by focusing on fundamentals of keyboarding, hardware, and software, while it supports students in grades 3-5 by focusing on online safety, software applications, and information research.  Please see the attachment below with a general scope and sequence of the EasyTech program.
